40/29 Provides More News and Weather on Northwest Arkansas Radio |

40/29 has announced a partnership with a Northwest Arkansas radio group to offer listeners local news and weather. Hog Radio will air 40/29 News and Get Ready Weather updates seven days a week on ESPN 99.5 (KAKS-FM), 96.7 The Coyote (KCYT-FM), Star 101.5 (KFMD-FM) and Lite 106.5 KBVA (KBVA-FM). “The news and weather are always changing in Northwest Arkansas,” KHBS/KHOG President and General Manager Shawn Oswald said. “Listeners can now stay up-to-date with 40/29 News and Get Ready Weather all day on Hog Radio stations.” Hog Radio will also have the right to simulcast 40/29 Get Ready Weather during continuous coverage of severe weather. “It is our mission to keep local residents safe and secure,” KHBS/KHOG-TV News Director Colleen Clement said. “With 40/29’s new radio partnership, Northwest Arkansas now has the ability to get ready for severe weather on all platforms.” 40/29 News and Get Ready Weather reports will be available on participating stations beginning Thursday, August 1.
