Village House Announces New Name and Location

Village House Adult Day Program was established in 1988 in Bella Vista. They now have a new name, Adult Day NWA, and will be located in Rogers.

Their new home will allow them to serve more adults with disabilities and their caregivers in an easy-to-access location and to grow their capacity from serving 30 families a day to serving 39 families each day. The new location will be available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Participants have the luxury of attending as much or as little as needed. Caregivers provide peace of mind and support in a stressful, isolating season in life.

"I don't feel guilty because I know he loves the socialization and the people. He feels like he has a purpose again, he actually looks forward to coming. I can actually breath when he's here because I know he is safe and happy."
-Sally, spouse/caregiver of participant

The new space is just over 3,400 sq. ft. and includes: Community Resource Library to host support groups, family meetings and endless community resources; kitchen for preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack; four bathrooms; Creative Commons for projects, puzzles, and small activities; multipurpose room for exercise classes, movies, games, and larger group events; and dining room among other amenities.
