KHBS/KHOG Adds Reporting Power to News Team

Hearst Television’s KHBS/KHOG gains news coverage strength with the addition of three journalists. Kendall Ashman, Emma Claybrook and Cole Zimmerman join 40/29 News as reporters covering Northwest Arkansas and the Arkansas River Valley.

“These three journalists are talented, energetic reporters who are welcome additions to the news team,” 40/29 News Director Colleen Clement said. “Together, they will allow 40/29 News to provide even more live reporting to our local viewers.”

Ashman, a graduate from Michigan State University, spent time in Dublin as a research assistant for Virgin Media Television. She also received valuable newsroom experience at Fox 2 News (WJBK-TV) in Detroit, Michigan.

Claybrook’s abilities have taken her from newsrooms in Columbia, Missouri to Brussels. A graduate from the University of Missouri, she brings a history of anchoring and investigative reporting from KOMU-TV.

Zimmerman comes to Arkansas from KOTO-FM in Telluride, Colorado. A graduate from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, he describes himself as having “a passion for community journalism.”
