Rogers Historical Museum Hosting Archeological Talk for Arkansas Archeology Month |

Celebrate Arkansas Archeology Month at the Rogers Historical Museum in March. Arkansas has a long and deep history where new discoveries are found every day by the members and volunteers of the Arkansas Archeological Survey. Every March the state honors their hard work. As part of this year's theme, Celebrate Archeology, Dr. Melissa Zabinski, Outreach Coordinator for the Survey, will hold a talk on March 8 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on The Archeology of Northwest Arkansas. She will discuss sites from both the recent and distant past, which will include the dig at Leetown, the Bluff sites, and much more. This event is free to the public. The Rogers Historical Museum is located at 313 South 2nd St. and is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
