Simply Divine Catering

I would think twice before considering to hire Lindy at Simply Divine. She was a no show for our event. This left us scrambling to find food for 100 people an hour prior to our start time. After multiple calls, she even answered her phone and said she would be there within the hour and still did not show up.

Pre-event, very cordial and helpful while planning a full day of catering. Pre-event on-site meeting staff was late. Day of event, staff was late for breakfast (first of the full day, breakfast, lunch, dinner agreement) and dropped off cold (hot) food, forgot utensils and no servers and when addressed with owner and staff was told, "I can issue you a refund," at 8AM that day they were contracted to provide lunch and dinner and staffing. Ee weren't looking to cancel, simply for them to be onsite on time, and deliver full service and answer calls. We never heard from them after they left at 8:10am Never showed up for lunch or dinner, never answered or returned any of the many calls or texts. Complete no show. Completely unprofessional.

We just used Simply Divine not only for our daughter's wedding reception but also the rehearsal dinner since the wedding was at Whitney Mountain Lodge, and no restaurants were close by. Lindy is so kind and one of those genuine 'wanting to please in any way' business owners! The prices are well within your budget and she will work with you in suggesting what to serve. The presentation of the appetizers, main courses, and sides were beautiful, and we had so many compliments from the guests on how well everything tasted! I had not ever tasted any of the food from Simply Divine before, but I just had a hunch it would be great. I was so right, and I will use this catering business again if needed!

Wow!!! Simply Divine is as good as it gets with the quality of scrumptious food, great service and a very reasonable price! Lindy runs the lunch deli at the community college where I teach (very popular with students and faculty) and this is her catering business on the side. (Or maybe the college is her side business.) Anyway, I do not see how she does it. The woman is a powerhouse!
Every 6 months I have a college board function with a nice buffet dinner for 15 to 18 people. Since I am on a limited budget I used to go to SAMS, buy in bulk and try to throw something together. (It was always an enormous hassle.) But NO MORE! Two weeks ago, Lindy catered the 3rd dinner she has done for me. She brings a selection of salads, a couple of main courses (including vegetarian), green beans, lemonade, tea - etc. There is always plenty of great food and the group always raves about it and asks who the caterer is. Besides being great food and all set up at the location where we meet, the price is fabulous - about 2/3 what I was spending at SAMS. Lindy is very easy to communicate with, flexible, will work with your organization on payment and lastly, the food is FABULOUS. I give her 5 stars!!!

My husband and I are still waiting for a response on an appointment to discuss the refund on our event. We have not received a response from Simply Divine since July 2020, and have been unable to connect on the phone or by email. As you can imagine, the decision to cancel our wedding and elope was not easy, and the cancellation process has had its own impact. I really just want to move forward from this. M family and I are having trouble understanding how Simply Divine can keep 70% of our deposit after giving a 40 day notice on the initial date change during quarantine, and a 75 day notice for the cancellation of the new date, not to mention the ongoing pandemic. In addition, no contract was ever signed by myself or my husband agreeing to these terms. If this is not the case, we ask again that Simply Divine provide documentation of those signatures so that we can understand where these numbers are coming from. I would really appreciate it if Simply Divine got back to me as soon as possible.
