Event Description: On Sunday, August 27, thousands of Northwest Arkansas residents of all ages can slide down a water slide on Fayetteville’s Dickson Street. The plastic slide sits on a layer of foam and ends in a 75-foot long pool with 3-foot deep waters. A one-of-a-kind experience. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Soldier ON Service Dogs, a local non-profit that trains service dogs for veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and/or traumatic brain injury (TBI) at no cost to the veteran. “Joining Soldier ON in the fun at the Dickson Street Slide is the most awesome way possible to say goodbye to summer,” Angie Pratt, Soldier ON Service Dogs Executive Director said.

Located on Dickson Street in Fayetteville, Arkansas between Collier's Drug Store and the Walton Art Center Parking Lot.

Join Soldier ON Service Dogs on Sunday, August 27, 2017 for our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year! The Dickson Street Slide is a GIANT triple slip and slide that spans just over 3 football fields in length and will take about two minutes to slide down! Plus, at the bottom of the slide, in the Walton Arts Center (WAC) parking lot, there will be a TON of vendor booths with fun items and food, plus a performance stage with a variety of family-friendly entertainment.
