World Trade Center Arkansas Hosting Two-Day Fundamentals of Classification Boot Camp |

CP Trade Consulting is offering a two-day training event called the Fundamentals of Classification Boot Camp from June 27-28 at the World Trade Center Arkansas in Rogers.
This event fulfills 11 CCS NEI/NCBFAA credits and provides an overview of the HTS system and the principles and tools used accurately classify merchandise.
As U.S. Customs and Border Protection requires importers to provide the appropriate ten-digit duty rate when an entry declaration is filed, inaccurate classifications may lead to incorrect duty payments, additional regulatory requirements, and when reasonable care is not exercised, even fines and penalties.
Understanding the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule, the principles and legal text that governs the classification of the merchandise and the resources that are available to help determine the correct classification is essential.
The Fundamentals of HTS Classification Boot Camp will provide participants with a solid foundation to help ensure that classifications assigned to their merchandise are accurate.
