40/29’s "Shark Tank" Searches for Local Entrepreneurs

ABC 40/29’s multi-Emmy® Award-winning reality show “Shark Tank” is fishing for fresh ideas in Northwest Arkansas. Presented by Startup Junkie, the show’s producers are holding open auditions at Exchange in Bentonville on Saturday, April 13.

Just like the show, local entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to give a one-minute pitch of their business, product or idea. If chosen, local contestants may be featured on “Shark Tank” for a chance to make their dreams a reality.

“Ideas developed in Bentonville have already changed the business-world as we know it,” 40/29 President and General Manager Shawn Oswald said. “We are confident there are more to find in Northwest Arkansas and proud to aid in the search.”

Auditions are open to the general public. Wristbands will be handed out from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. the day of the event. Interviews are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

The critically acclaimed “Shark Tank” is currently celebrating its 10th season. New episodes air Sundays at 9 p.m. on 40/29.
