Steve Miller Band, Marty Stuart And His Fabulous Superlatives Team Up for the Classic Rock Meets Classic Country Tour

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Steve Miller is joining forces with Marty Stuart And His Fabulous Superlatives to bring their Classic Rock Meets Classic Country Tour to the Walmart AMP on Sunday, June 16 as part of the Cox Concert Series. Tickets go on sale to the public Thursday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m.

Ticket prices range from $35 to $95.50 plus fees and can be purchased by calling 479.443.5600 or by visiting www.amptickets.com.  In-person purchases can be made at the Walmart AMP Box Office in Rogers from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Feb. 21 or at the Walton Arts Center Box Office in Fayetteville Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and Saturday, noon until 4 p.m.

Steve Miller has been an enlivening presence on the American music scene for more than half a century. He was a mainstay of the San Francisco music scene that upended American culture in the late '60s. With albums like Children of the Future, Sailor and Brave New World, Miller perfected a psychedelic blues sound that drew on the deepest sources of American roots music and simultaneously articulated a compelling vision of what music and, indeed, society could be in the years to come. In the course of his long career, Miller has sold tens of millions of records and his music has been streamed well over two billion times.

Stuart is a Grammy®-winning singer, songwriter and musician that is living, breathing country-music history. He’s played alongside the masters, from Cash to Lester Flatt, who discovered him and continues to record and release keenly relevant music that honor country’s rich legacy while advancing it into the future. When it comes to transforming these songs into a tangible experience, Stuart has a secret weapon: the Fabulous Superlatives. Made up of guitarist Kenny Vaughan, drummer Harry Stinson and new member, bassist Chris Scruggs, the Superlatives are an extension of Stuart himself.

The Steve Miller Band last played the Walmart AMP in 2017. Marty Stuart last played the Walmart AMP in 2018 when he opened for Chris Stapleton.
