Samaritan Community Center Announces New Director of Operations

Samaritan Community Center (SCC) has announced and welcomed Matt Loveless as Director of Operations. After seven years of being a committed Director of Operations, Maxie Carpenter opened the floor for Matt to succeed him. As Director of Operations Matt will lead and manage the SCC program services of both Rogers and Springdale centers, ensuring all program activities operate consistently within the mission and values of the organization.

"I was delighted when Debbie told me that Matt was going to be my replacement," said Maxie Carpenter, current Director of Operations. "I've known Matt for a number of years. We've had a very strong relationship, not only in terms of leadership and mentoring, but just being very good friends."

Loveless has an impressive resume that displays 28+ successful years as a previous Senior Executive at Walmart and Acosta. He is regarded as a visionary leader in his field and influential communicator. His education consists of a combined MS in Leadership & Ethics and BS in Communications. His skills and qualifications are exactly what the SCC needs as it continues to gain momentum serving the hurting and hungry of Northwest Arkansas.

"I'm just honored and humbled to serve on a great team, a wonderful team here, and serve the clients of the Samaritan Community Center. It's a blessing and a joy. I look forward to having you all come see us at the center," said Loveless.

"We are really excited to have him [Matt] join us after a long career at Walmart," says SCC Executive Director, Debbie Rambo. She expressed confidence that Loveless was the perfect person for the position.
