GPP Cycling Collecting Safe Cycling Data in Rogers and Bentonville

Beginning July 9, 2018, GPP Cycling is encouraging cyclists to utilize city streets for an east-west corridor connecting Downtown Rogers to Bentonville. Inspired by a meeting of biking enthusiasts, GPP Cycling is working with the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce, Visit Rogers, Bike NWA and The City of Rogers Community Development Office to educate riders to safely and easily connect to the trails in Rogers traveling East and West.

The goal is simple: safe, efficient cycling between the two cities. GPP is asking interested cyclists to ride from GPP Rogers to GPP Bentonville, or vice versa. Once completed, GPP will ask riders to upload their route to Facebook with the hashtag #R2BGPP.

When you reach your destination, GPP bike shop will provide you with free bottled water and ask you to highlight your route on the map provided. Note any problem areas of the commute, (traffic, dogs, etc.) This information will be collected and given directly to the Rogers cycling committee for analysis and direction. You can take part in this awesome opportunity to contribute valuable intel on safe, efficient cycling between the two cities. Thank you for your help in developing and promoting safe cycling in NWA!
