NWACC Hosting Fall 2018 Career Fair

NorthWest Arkansas Community College will host its 2018 Fall Career Fair September 5. Below is information about the fair and registration, along with additonal resources NWACC offers to employers to recruit students for employment.

Date: Wednesday, September 5, 2018

Time: 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Set up time: Set up times will take place between 9:00 -10:00 a.m.

Location: The NWACC Career Fair will be held in the Becky Paneitz Student Center Trammel Student Union building and room SC 108 on the Bentonville NWACC campus.

Registration Fee: There is a $30 registration fee which will include lunch for up to two company representatives. Funding that does not cover lunch will go awards the LIFE Program for student scholarships. Additionally, NWACC is asking participating companies to provide give-away items for attendees as they will be put in a door prize drawing upon registration at the time of the event. Providing door prizes are optional but will be used to encourage student participation.

The fair will be open to students and also open to the public. Space is limited, so register as soon as possible. They will not be able to accommodate everyone with electrical outlets, but wireless internet will be provided.

To post a flyer on the NWACC campus, email your flyer to career_services@nwacc.edu.

Workforce Wednesdays:
Workforce Wednesdays are an opportunity for employers to recruit students for jobs/internships on campus. Employers will have a table on campus between 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Tables will be provided in the Student Center 1st floor. This is a heavy traffic area around lunch for students. There is no fee to attend Workforce Wednesday. Fill out this form to request a date: Workforce Wednesdays (currently a waiting list until fall dates become available).
