Ify Egbosimba Named 40/29 News Anchor/Reporter

Ify Egbosimba (pronounced “ee-bo-simba”) has been named weekend morning anchor and weekday reporter at KHBS/KHOG-TV, the Hearst Television Inc. ABC affiliate serving the Fayetteville and Fort Smith, Arkansas television market.

Egbosimba returns to Arkansas after reporting, producing and anchoring at KHGI/KFXL News in Kearney, Nebraska. She spent more than three years producing news at Northwest Arkansas’ NBC affiliate. Egbosimba also worked as an associate news producer at KARK-TV in Little Rock. Her internships include BET Networks, The Wendy Williams Show, Fox 16 News in Little Rock and VH1 Productions.

“Ify is a multitalented and motivated journalist,” said KHBS/KHOG-TV News Director, Colleen Clement. “Her local experience will allow her to better serve our community.”

Egbosimba will co-anchor 40/29 News with Joshua Cole on weekend mornings. She will also be seen reporting live weekdays across Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley.
