New Art Exhibition Opens at Walton Arts Center

Walton Arts Center proudly presents the newest art exhibition in the Joy Pratt Markham Gallery, The Bleak and the Burgeoning.

Works in The Bleak and the Burgeoning are physically curated in a way that reveals both an independent sense of personally geography as well as a collective experience of fragile terrains. The featured artists for the installation include Amber Cowan, Maysey Craddock, Leonardo Drew, Lauren Fensterstock and Judy Pfaff.

The exhibition will be on display June 19-Oct. 7, 2018 in Walton Arts Center’s Joy Pratt Markham Gallery. Gallery admission is free, and gallery hours are noon to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and one hour prior to most performances.

The exhibit’s opening reception is being presented as part of the Artsophere Festival on Tuesday, June 19 at 5 p.m.
