Repairs at Lake Atalanta Under Way |

Construction at Lake Atalanta Park is under way. The City of Rogers has executed a contract with Crossland Construction for the project and is set to receive reimbursement for the repairs and mitigation from FEMA. Last spring, the park was damaged from a major flood event. City staff has been working with FEMA to secure funds for the repairs and improvements.
Over the next several months, Crossland Construction will be removing damaged structures, replacing bridges, repairing channels and stream banks, and restoring weirs. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the project, but visitors should be aware of changing routes and access points. City staff asks that visitors and neighbors remain patient as the repairs will be disruptive at times, but will be completed as quickly as possible.
