Kids Ride Free on Ozark Regional Transit Until Labor Day

In keeping with the more-than-a-decade-long tradition of the “Kids Ride Free” summer program, Ozark Regional Transit (ORT) has committed to providing this program once again in 2018 on all fixed routes.

ORT is confident the community will take advantage of this program again this year.

All three malls, two aquatic centers, four public libraries, four movie theatres, several parks and museums, the downtown areas of every town that participates in public transit, the Jones Center, and multiple trailheads along the Razorback Greenway all await passengers using the bus system.

The free fare service dates are from Tuesday, May 29, 2018, through Friday, August 31, 2018, and are open to anyone born in 2001 or later; essentially, age 17 or younger. Children under age 12 are required to have an older guardian accompanying them.

Summer lunch programs are offered by local public schools at multiple locations during the summer. Many of these are serviced by ORT routes and referenced on our website.

Visit https://www.fns.usda.gov/summerfoodrocks for locations in your specific community and visit https://ort.routematch.com/fixedroute/ to coordinate with ORT fixed routes.
