Sunbelt Rentals Partnering with Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

Sunbelt Rentals is partnering with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to help find a cure for type one diabetes (T1D) and improve the lives of the 1.25 million Americans affected by this disease. For the first time, they are taking their partnership nationally and raising funds in all Sunbelt Rentals locations.

Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that strikes both children and adults suddenly. It has nothing to do with diet or lifestyle. If you have T1D, you must constantly monitor your blood-sugar level, rely on injected or infused insulin and carefully monitor your eating and activity. It is a serious and stressful disease to manage. You cannot prevent it–and currently, there is no cure. JDRF is the leading global organization funding life-changing research to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications. 

The partnership with JDRF will be through an important community fundraiser called JDRF One Walk scheduled for October 13, 2018 at The Gardens at the University of Arkansas. The Walk is a fun, family friendly event where people of all ages join together to show their commitment to create a world without T1D. Sunbelt Rentals is excited to participate as a national team with a goal of raising over $500,000 for this worthy and noble cause.
