Arkansas Children’s Northwest to Host Festival of Stars Toy and Donation Drive

On Friday, December 15, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale, you can make the holidays brighter for children in Arkansas by giving a brand-new toy or an online gift to Arkansas Children’s Northwest Festival of Stars Toy and Donation Drive.

Toys donated will also be used to provide joy to patients at Arkansas Children’s Northwest when it opens in early 2018. All monetary donations raised through Arkansas Children’s Northwest Festival of Stars will support the Social Work and Child Life fund at Arkansas Children’s Northwest.

Arkansas Children’s Northwest Festival of Stars Toy and Donation Drive is part of a larger statewide effort to collect toys and raise funds for patients at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Arkansas Children’s Northwest and the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Clinics. Toys and donations will be accepted at 10 additional locations around the state. This new effort reflects Arkansas Children’s commitment to reaching more children where they live, learn and play. Individuals, families and community groups have the opportunity to make the holiday season special for these children by making an in-kind donation of new toys or a monetary donation.

Local business, Propak Corporation, has generously donated a truck, trailer and the manpower to personally deliver all donated toys to Arkansas Children’s Northwest and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Since its inception, the community has donated more than $100,000 in toys to Arkansas Children’s patients through Festival of Stars in Northwest Arkansas.
