Susan G. Komen Ozark celebrating 20th anniversary of Pink Ribbon Luncheon |

The 20th Annual Pink Ribbon Luncheon will be hosted by the Ozark Affiliate of Susan G. Komen Friday, October 27 at the Northwest Arkansas Convention Center in Springdale at 11:30 a.m. Doors and silent auction will open at 10:45 a.m. The luncheon is presented by The Breast Center, a Mana Clinic as an opportunity to educate women about breast self-awareness, to celebrate survivorship and honor those we have lost. The event also features a silent auction, Survivor Fashion Show sponsored by Highlands Oncology, survivor tribute and the 2017 BigWig Class sponsored by SC Johnson. Local breast cancer survivors will model fall fashions from Town & Country. There are still a few tickets available, but time is running out! Tickets are $50 per individual or $500 per table and may be purchased online at www.komenozark.org or by calling 479-750-7465. Proceeds from this event benefit the Susan G. Komen Ozark Affiliate to help fund local breast health programs that provide education, screening, diagnostic and treatment assistance services to those in need. Box 309, Springdale, AR 72764. About Komen Ozark The Ozark Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is dedicated to combating breast cancer at every front. Since 1998, Komen Ozark has funded over 10.5 MILLION in local grants to help local women and over 3 MILLION in research to find the cure. 75 percent of the Affiliate’s net income goes toward funding grants to the 10 county service area through community organizations that provide breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment programs for medically underserved women and men. The Komen Ozark Affiliate’s service area covers Benton, Boone, Carroll, Crawford, Madison, Newton, Sebastian, and Washington Counties in Arkansas and Stone and Taney Counties in Missouri.
