Hearst Television and Cox Communications today jointly announced a restoration of the Hearst Television stations to the Cox cable systems in five television markets. Hearst Television Inc. is the parent company of KHBS/KHOG-TV (ABC 40/29), KHBS/KHOG-DT2 (THE ARKANSAS CW) & KHBS/KHOG-DT3 (ME TV ARKANSAS).
KHBS/KHOG-TV (ABC 40/29), KHBS/KHOG-DT2 (THE ARKANSAS CW) & KHBS/KHOG-DT3 (ME TV ARKANSAS) carriage was briefly discontinued on the Cox systems beginning late Tuesday night, September 5, after an impasse was reached in retransmission-consent negotiations following the expiration of an existing contract.
