Newton, Owen, Boyd & Smoke to Combine with Hudson, Cisne & Co.

Newton, Owen, Boyd & Smoke is merging with Hudson, Cisne & Co., a Little Rock-based accounting firm.

Established in 1987, Hudson, Cisne & Co. provides accounting, tax, and audit services to closely-held businesses and non-profit organizations of all sizes.

The merger will not disrupt the way in which services are provided, though the Newton, Owen, Boyd & Smoke team will now work under the Hudson Cisne & Co. name. They will also unite the Southeast Arkansas offices by moving all employees in Pine Bluff to an expanded White Hall office. Their offices will continue to provide clients with the same services: audits, reviews, compilations, tax preparation, payroll, sales tax, QuickBooks and outsourced accounting. These services will continue under the current fee structure. 

Clients will now have access to a wider array of services and industries that Hudson Cisne & Co. offers, including but not limited to audits, reviews, compilations, tax preparation, business valuations, management consulting and retirement plan administration.
