The Pack Shack Launches Feed The Funnel Month This September

The Pack Shack, an Arkansas-based non-profit known for fighting food insecurity through crazy fun Feed the Funnel meal packing parties, announces its Feed the Funnel Month initiative for the month of September.

“18.4 percent of Arkansas residents are food insecure. That’s the second highest rate of food insecurity in the country,” said Bret Raymond, co-founder and CEO of The Pack Shack. “The goal of Feed the Funnel Month is to engage 2,000 people to pack 500,000 delicious, healthy meals for our neighbors in need in northwest Arkansas and across the Ozarks. We’re excited to partner with the NWA Food Bank and Convoy of Hope to get the meals to people who need them.”

Organizations are invited to sign up their teams to participate throughout the month of September. In addition to packing meals, organizations and individuals can get involved by donating funds to enable students from local schools to pack meals and by participating in the Stock the Shelves NWA Food Drive.
