2017 UA Sports Hall of Honor Announced

Nine former University of Arkansas student-athletes will be inducted as members of the 2017 class of the University of Arkansas Sports Hall of Honor this September.

The 2017 class consists of former Razorback football greats Ken Hamlin, Madre Hill, Louis Campbell and Bo Busby, baseball All-American Troy Eklund, men’s golf great Jack O’Keefe, women’s basketball star Amy Wright, women’s tennis standout Chin Bee Khoo and men’s track and field multiple-time All-American Melvin Lister. The 2017 inductees were elected to the UA Sports Hall of Honor based on a vote by former Razorback letter winners in conjunction with the A Club. The UA Sports Hall of Honor, including the induction weekend, is coordinated by the Razorback Foundation.

The 2017 class will be inducted during the Hall of Honor weekend, Sept. 7-9. Inductees will also be recognized during half-time of Arkansas’ football on-campus home opener against TCU at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Game time will be announced at a later date.

Tables and individual tickets to the induction banquet and the Hall of Honor golf tournament may be purchased from the Razorback Foundation. Sponsorship's are also available for the banquet and golf outing. For more information, visit RazorbackFoundation.com or call the Razorback Foundation at (479) 443-9000.
