AMP Fest Returns This Fall

One-Day Festival Supports Arts Education Programs for NWA
AMP Fest is returning to the Walmart AMP this fall. The annual beer, music and tech festival for a good cause is organized by Walton Arts Center’s Corporate Leadership Council and will take place on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017 from 4 to 9 p.m. For downloadable photos, visit the AMP Fest Dropbox.

The one-day festival will feature cutting-edge games, technology activations and interactive experiences as well as live music on three stages and craft beers from more than 20 local, regional and national breweries. A detailed schedule of performances and activities will be announced soon. All proceeds from the event go to support Walton Arts Center’s arts education programs.

Early Bird tickets for $35 go on sale this Friday, June 16 and will be available through July 31 or while supplies last. After that, ticket prices will increase to $45. Ticket prices include a collectable glass for beer sampling and access to all activation experiences. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Walmart AMP Box Office in Rogers, Walton Arts Center Box Office in Fayetteville, by calling 479.443.5600 or visiting www.amptickets.com.

In 2016, AMP Fest raised more than $83,000 that was used to support educational programs, improve classroom learning through arts integrations and inspire people of all ages by connecting them to performing and visual arts programs through Walton Arts Center.

The Corporate Leadership Council is comprised of local business leaders who actively support the education and outreach programs of Walton Arts Center. AMP Fest and the annual Masquerade Ball are annual fundraising events organized by the CLC. Private support raised through these events allow Walton Arts Center to offer most education programs at low or no cost to more than 40,000 students, teachers, families and individuals in Northwest Arkansas.

The Walmart AMP (Arkansas Music Pavilion), a Walton Arts Center venue since February 2011 is Arkansas’ premier outdoor concert venue. The AMP has presented headlining concerts for the past 11 years, including rock, country and pop. In its permanent home in Pinnacle Hills at 5079 W. Northgate Rd., Rogers, Ark., the Walmart AMP has the largest outdoor stage house in Arkansas.
