The Arkansas National Guard invites you to participate in the Youth Challenge Program

Interested in becoming a member of the Arkansas Army National Guard? Want to provide leadership and serve as a mentor?

Position summary/requirements:

-The mentor serves as a role model, friend, and advocate to a cadet for at least 14 months.
-Return all requested forms promptly.
-Attend a mentor training class at the Youth Challenge Campus
-Assist cadet with the Post-Residential Action Plan (PRAP)
-Make four contacts monthly with cadet.
-Complete a monthly report and return to the Post Residential Department.
-Assist cadet with placement activities (i.e. school, work, volunteer, military)
-Share informal and fun activities with cadet
-Must be 21
-Cadets are placed with mentors in the same geographical area
