Northwest Arkansas Naturals Announce Schedule of Events for Opening Day at Arvest Ballpark Thursday, April, 2017

OPENING DAY DETAILS ANNOUNCED FOR THURSDAY, APRIL 6
The highly anticipated home opener features a Fireworks Spectacular & a 2017 Magnet Schedule Giveaway

SPRINGDALE, Ark - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are excited to announce the schedule of events that will take place on Opening Day at Arvest Ballpark on Thursday, April 6 when the Naturals take on the San Antonio Missions at 6:25 p.m. Fans are encouraged to arrive early as gates will open at 5 p.m. with pre-game festivities scheduled to begin at approximately 5:40 p.m.

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals will begin Season 10 at Arvest Ballpark with the first Post-Game Fireworks Spectacular of the year. In addition, a 2017 Magnet Schedule giveaway is planned for the first 1,000 fans to enter the gates. The pre-game festivities are scheduled to begin at approximately 5:40 p.m. and they will feature a Season 10 Celebration. Opening Day is presented by AR SAVES Strike Out Stroke and media partners KIX 104, Magic 107.9, 93.3 The Eagle, and Hot Mix 101.9.

The Opening Day festivities will include the following:

Videoboard Picture Montage - As fans enter, the Arvest Ballpark videoboard will showcase pictures from the previous nine years ranging from the ballpark under construction to fan pictures, game action, and special events.

Season 10 Celebration - Features ceremonial introductions of special guests in attendance, on-field Ribbon Cutting as a tribute to the inaugural game played in 2008, and some words of welcome by David Glass, owner of the Kansas City Royals and Justin Cole, General Manager of the Naturals.

Naturals Season 10 Video - Special video tribute to Season 10 at Arvest Ballpark

Yordano Ventura Tribute/Moment of Silence - Prior to the game, the Naturals will recognize a former Natural, the late, great Yordano Ventura with a special video tribute on the videoboard and moment of silence.

Pre-Game Performances by the Pea Ridge High School Choir and the Pea Ridge High School Cheerleaders

God Bless America will be performed prior to the game by Quapaw High School Band

The National Anthem will be performed by University of Arkansas Children's Choir

Full Introductions of the Naturals and San Antonio Missions - The Field Staff, Reserves, and Starters of both teams will be announced and brought to the baselines prior to the National Anthem.

Buck Night & Thirsty Thursday - Buck Night & Thirsty Thursday features $1 Farm Rich Mozzarella Sticks & 12 oz.

Coca-Cola Fountain Drinks as well as $2 Bags of Peanuts & 16oz. Pabst Blue Ribbon Drafts for only $2 at specific locations on the concourse.

NEW Concourse Player Signage - Signage along the concourse highlighting famous alums in the Major Leagues

NEW Team Store & Sam's Club Community Room Signage - Four (4) new signs highlighting the Naturals Texas League Title in 2010 as well as North Division Championships in 2009, 2015, and 2016.

Home Plate Super Premium - $13 ($14 on day of game)
Dugout Super Premium - $12 ($13 on day of game)
Dugout Premium - $10 ($11 on day of game)
1B/3B Reserved - $8 ($9 on day of game)
Tylenol Grass Berm/General Admission - $7 ($8 on day of game)

Children 12 and under and adults over 65 years of age receive $1 off the purchase of individual game tickets. Active and retired military will receive a $1 ticket discount at the box office by presenting the proper identification.

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals will host the San Antonio Missions, the Double-A Affiliate of the San Diego Padres, on Thursday, April 6 at 6:25 p.m. for Opening Day of Season 10 of Naturals Baseball at Arvest Ballpark.
