Smitty's Garage Burgers and Beer

Full transparency... I prior posted a 2star review. The owner contacted me asked me to please give a second chance at my own convenience and a gift card with no strings attached. That experience was very kind and thoughtful asked me great questions for honest feedback.
Today's review. I really like the inside of this place the ambiance is really good. Last time I was there with 20+ guys this time sitting at the bar with my wife very good 5 star ambiance.

Service today, (they did not know who I was.) Service was excellent, we were greeted by a manager, had attentive bartender and service was perfect! Waters never below half. Great job, food was on time. 5 Star service.

Food, here's where it gets difficult. I'll post more pictures. Cutting to the chase 2-3 star food.
Drinks were good, frozen from the machine serviceable. The best thing we had were the pork rinds and queso, yum . I'd get that again. We each ordered an entree wife got fish tacos I had the double bacon cheeseburger.

Just don't order the fish tacos, they are frozen log sticks of badly breaded fish no flavor wet with slaw, Bad combination. At $11. for fish tacos and a bowl of corn tortilla chips. Never again. My burger a nearly $10 burger did have good flavor, it had a soft bag bun not toasted 2 patties, 2 bacon, 2 cheese slices and a drizzle of mayo. Very bare bones minimum well seasoned basic burger. That's it. No fries no nothing a $9.50 double bacon cheeseburger period. I don't get it for $10 I should get anything I want on just a burger.
Review summary. Great place to hang out relax get a beer have an appetizer. The people are working hard to serve you well! Go somewhere else to eat your meal.

Food...burger was ok...the onion rings were not...limp and soggy...disappointing.

The bar was out of so many draft beers...no IPA's...apparently regular issue due to distributor....find some new labels...another huge disappoitm.

The evening was rescued by what might be the best bartender in the area...
TANNER, ...the dude was outstanding...saved the evening completely. Give him a raise before JJ's steals him.

Excellent place, and I even ordered to go. It was easy to get to, and the food options were endless. Their to go service was great. You order from their app and pick it up there. If you have. Ugh wait time, there's plenty of little shops around to visit while you wait for your to go order.

Smittys is a little bit of a drive from downtown Fayetteville, but it was perfect because it wasn't too packed. We came during Dads weekend for dinner & sat outside. There wasn't a line to order & it was super easy to find a table. They also have arcade game which made it fun, especially if you have kids with you.

We all shared a burger, truffle fries & chips, guac & salsa. They had lots of drink options too. But for the 3 of us it was a perfect snack, none of us were super hungry. The truffle fries were our favorite. Our food came quick and there was staff walking around checking on us even though we ordered at the counter. Very affordable prices too.

Loved this place! Definitely recommend!

First time visiting Smitty's, and I was very impressed. Burgers will always be in my top three go-to options when dining out. The Bacon Double Cheeseburger from Smitty's fit the bill significantly. The bun was soft, the cheese was melted and evenly distributed over the bacon, and the taste of the beef with was on point. I'm a big Five Guys fan, and I feel this burger is right up there, if not better than Five Guys.

The restaurant was not busy for a Saturday mid-afternoon.

The beer taplist was just okay--local brewery options with popular beers you expect to see.

Overall, my visit was solid and a solid visit with a three-year-old that includes food, a good beverage, and no toddler mood swings is a WIN.

We came for the toasty vegan avocado melt and hand-cut fries on the patio and stayed for Thursday night trivia! Good times, a good beer selection and a large patio keep us coming back!

Used to love Smitty's, especially the hand-cut delicious fries (even when delivered, they were crisp and delicious). However, the last 2 times we went there in person they had gone downhill. Last time was yesterday and the burger itself was good, but the bun was soggy -- felt like it was dipped in water -- gross! The bottom bun was soaked, I guess with the salsa and guac, so I took that off and just ate the top bun, but the guac had soaked into the bun and I no longer had a spicy avocado burger. The fries were limp and sad. What a disappointment! On the plus side, our bartender was great!

Great drink deals. Good menu. Great place to watch a sporting event. Relaxed atmosphere and great service.

Smitty's is the kind of place you go to if you want a quick lunch, are with a group or just want an appetizer and good drink. The menu is amazing with so many different ways of having your hamburger cooked. And not just hamburger but turkey, chicken and bison. My go to burger is a bison cheeseburger with bacon. It is healthy and so flavorful. When you're in the mood to get your hands dirty with some good food, you have to check Smitty's out. You will not regret it.

After hiking, we were craving some burgers. A quick search came up Smitty's. It was on our way so we stopped. Very rarely does expectation meet reality.

I liked how you just order your food and sit down. It made for a quick experience. We opted to NOT have someone wait on us, we could take care of ourselves.

Now the size of the burger's themselves could be improved a bit, or just know, you may want to make it a double. So when it came out, it looked small and unattractive. But once you tasted them, WOW!

I got a spiced avocado burger? which was excellent. The guacamole on there was really spiced and the hamburger patty was nice and crispy.

We also got a sticky finger ? The peanut butter, bacon one. WOW!! That thing was insane. I tried a few bites and the flavor just did not stop. You totally got all the flavors. Peanut butter, bacon (very smoky) and some type of sauce that tied it all together.

The sweet potato fries were soft, salted well and really good.

It may have just been we were really hungry, but wow this place really hit the spot. I would have liked to see a bit bigger size for price, but the flavor made up for it. Great stop! I'd go again immediately!
