Healing the Recovery Community!

About us

P.E.A.R.L. (Positive Energy Affecting Recovering Lives) is a non-profit corporation that provides positive support to the Benton County Drug Court and Veteran Court (VA) and, by extension, many drug court participants. We help participants get back on their feet and take control of their lives by supporting Drug Court programs that provide access to resources and education proven to increase the chances of successfully recovering from addiction. It takes hard work, support and, in many cases, access to the right resources to overcome the challenges of addiction. Many individuals want to make a meaningful and lasting change but feel like there are too many obstacles or barriers in their way. There are a variety of factors that play a role in how well individuals are able to manage and overcome addiction, including genetics, living situation, career stress, the relationships they maintain and whether or not they have access to appropriate support and the necessary resources. At PEARL, we understand that the causes of addiction – and the barriers to recovery – are unique for every individual. We help the Benton County Drug Court and VA provide the specific programs and guidance participants need to re-enter the community and start building a more fulfilling life without drugs or alcohol.

PEARL Staff, Rayola & Jim had the pleasure of being asked to go inside the Northwest Arkansas Community Correction Center which is a program that is a branch of the Arkansas Department of Corrections for women who are currently incarcerated. This week is National Reentry Week and they had the opportunity to speak to the women about PEARL and how we can assist when they are released, they shared their personal recovery stories, and they did so awesome they were already asked to come back and do it again in September 🎉🥳❤️🎉 Great job Rayola & Jim representing PEARL and inspiring others through your own recovery!! #nationalreentryweek #reentryadvocate #reentrymatters #peersupport #pearl

Our Executive Director, Kyra and Programs Coordinator Brittany began a new Professional Development journey today that will span the next 14 months! The NWA Gives masterclass training was completed a couple weeks ago and P.E.A.R.L was extended the offer to jump right into this course which is also through GoodmakerU at Branches Mission Lab in NWA. Their team saw the heart and dedication that our staff put in and extended the offer for us to take it to the next level with the RAISE NWA Fundraising Mastermind 14 month course. We are so excited to see how this takes the organization to the next level! HUGE shoutout & much gratitude to the Walmart Foundation for paying for our seats in this course. We promise we will put it to good use! ❤️ #professionaldevelopment #PEARL #walmartfoundation #goodmakeru

Yesterday we showed gratitude for our friends at GoodmakerU and they role they played in our NWA Gives success by providing some awesome training to our team at PEARL. Today, we want to highlight our volunteers, staff, and residents who helped us apply what we learned by their willingness to show up in such a HUGE WAY! We are grateful for all of you! Our Peer Supervisor, Todd Meyer brought in the most donations from our staff competition! Thank you for your hard work Todd! Our Women’s Recovery House resident, Caitlin, brought in the most donations of all residents in both of our Recovery Houses! Thank you Caitlin!! You are amazing! Our volunteer and overall winner was Todd Bucher! He really helped PEARL out and showed tons of love for our cause. In turn he received this certificate that will indeed certify he is… “The Man” 🥳🥳🥳 Thank you so much to everybody that helped that day! So blessed to have you on our A-Team!! 👏👏👏
