Junior League of Northwest Arkansas Planning Eleventh Annual Family Festival Event, Touch-a-Truck, fun for all ages
Lowell, Ark., May 4, 2017 — The Junior League of Northwest Arkansas announces they are hosting their 11thAnnual Touch-a-Truck event May 6, 2017 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the south side of the Promenade Mall Parking Lot in Rogers, Arkansas. Rain date is June 3. As always, this springtime family festival will be kid-friendly and a full-on-fun for all ages. Check out our Touch-A-Truck Facebook page to see announcements and updates.
This year’s Touch-a-Truck will feature over fifty vehicles that kids (and kids-at-heart,) can explore. Vehicles you can expect to see include construction equipment, safety and transportation vehicles, motorcycles, tractors, and much more. There will also be special appearances and activities including mascots, costumed characters, and building projects, just to name a few. In addition to equipment, vehicles, and entertainment, there will be concessions offering lunch, refreshments, shaved ice and all the tasty treats you would expect to find at a family-fun event. (Kona Ice and Nothing Bundt Cakes.)
Tickets are just $5 each or $20 per family (max 5 guests per family ticket.) Children under one are free. Guests can purchase their tickets online through the Junior League’s website www.JuniorLeagueNWA.org or at the event's entrance gate.
With more than 4,000 in attendance each year, the Junior League’s Touch-a-Truck raises more than $15,000 for the League’s charitable causes. Proceeds assist the League with its mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
