Event Description: Adelita y Su Caballo: A Rodeo Cinderella TRIKE THEATRE presents a studio performance of their new bi-lingual play: Adelita y Su Caballo: A Rodeo Cinderella. In collaboration with professional playwright Christopher Parks, Trike Theatre is creating an original Cinderella story for audiences ages 6+ and their families. The show will be presented Friday, March 31 7:00pm and Saturday, April 1 at 11:00am and 2:00pm at Arts Center of the Ozarks. Tickets are FREE thanks to an Innovation grant from the Mid-American Arts Alliance and support from Ed Clifford and Endeavor Foundation. Adelita wants to compete in the local rodeo, but isn’t allowed. With some help from her friends (and a little magic) she fulfills her dream. This bilingual, interactive Cinderella story invites the audience to act out the story with Trike Theatre’s ensemble of professional actors. Audiences will celebrate Mexican culture and the spirit of courage as Adelita stands up for herself and other children whose voices deserve to be heard.
