In this first session of a three-part series Writing for the Internet, participants will learn: • How online writing differs from more traditional writing genres • Forms of online writing • Tips for SEO (search engine optimization) • Tips for capturing (and keeping) the reader’s attention (including understanding online reading habits) • Establishing voice • How to incorporate brand into online writing • Writing and formatting for both the search engines and the reader • General best practices for online writing • Accumulating a portfolio of online examples • Resources for success
