Beaver Lake’s Buddy Bass Tournament to be Discontinued after 27 Years

After a successful 27-year run, the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that its annual Bradford Marine & ATV Buddy Bass Tournament will be discontinued effective this year. Over the years, the tournament helped to raise awareness of the natural beauty of Beaver Lake as well as the importance of the lake to the Northwest Arkansas economy. Proceeds from the tournament helped the Chamber fund economic development initiatives.

“We’d like to thank the thousands of anglers and spectators who previously attended the event and made it one of the largest non-circuit and most exciting 'catch and release' bass tournaments in Arkansas,” said Raymond Burns, President/CEO of the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce. “We’d also like to express our appreciation to our tournament partners Bradford Marine & ATV and Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World for their tremendous support that enabled our success over these many years.”
